My Seventh Blog Post

Like the title says, this is the seventh blog post I am writing for the House of Blogs… what’s that you say? You say you have only seen two posts? Oh, well, that is because only two found their way to Elizabeth’s inbox. The others somehow got lost. One wondered off in the middle of being written and had no interest in being finished. It was last seen at the Lenox mall happily shopping. Another wanted to be sent, but was grounded for lack of being successfully edited. It may be allowed back out, but only if it starts living up to its potential. A few did not like their topics and hid themselves from the send button. Who would have imagined I could produce anything that was shy? I Miss the Sounds

It has been almost three months since my last run due to a running injury… and I miss the sounds.
I miss the Gasp I make when my alarm goes off and jostles me out of a deep sleep. Wasn’t I just dreaming about…? Ugh… I am already forgetting. I reach over and fumble for the snooze button. I miss the silent pause I hear before I say to myself “No, Nikelle. You need to get up. You need to get your miles in today.“ I Sigh… Sometimes I really hate my inner monologue. Introducing Nikelle Hamada

Wikipedia defines the word ‘blog’ as follows: A blog (a contraction of the term “web log“) is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video.
I am not sure how “regular” my entries will be, but I like the idea of reaching out to GSCPA members… I myself am not a member or the society, but as the Member Services Manager for the GSCPA, I am very invested in the CPA community. My name is Nikelle Hamada, and up until now I have worked primarily with the Society’s student members and the volunteers who had involvement student programs. In the upcoming months, I am going to be branching out into other areas of membership, and I am excited to be presented with new challenges and tasks.
