Few Receive Mortgage Relief

Only 4% of borrowers who signed up under the government relief plan have received permanent mortgage modifications (per the Savannah Morning News).
Among big lenders, Bank of America had the worst performance – just 98 modifications out of 160,000 borrowers who had signed up.
My Take:
Since 4 million homeowners have already lost their houses since the mortgage crisis began, it is shocking how many banks are responding. Is it caution, incompetence, or greed?

Your Role – The Curve Ball

Curve Ball – idiom, to cause to be surprised, especially unpleasantly so.
You’ve selected the right person, let him discover how he fits in, shown him tools to be productive, and given him a way to feel like an owner. Then, he or she throws you the “curve ball”.
He forgets to follow his systems, becomes apathetic to his personal goals, and overlooks his role. In other words, he acts as the fallible human we all are.

Borrow or Tax Small Business Owners?

Last December, the state of Georgia Unemployment fund (for laid-off workers) had roughly a $1 billion fund balance according to Georgia Trend magazine.
